The Farming

Our farming business began in 1978, from an idea that came to its owner,  Pistella.
It developed greatly within a few years, thanks to the assistance of capable co-workers such as Mr. Antonio D’Annunzio (sales manager) and Mr. Ezio De Vincentiis (production manager).
Today it covers a cultivated area of approximately 500 hectares, producing mainly spinach, and all the various processing stages, from sowing to selling the pre-packaged fresh product are carried out here directly.
The packaging includes bunches of spinach in 5 Kg crates and bags with whole leaves for the fourth range.
New goals have been reached in recent years, with the arrival of the son Mattia, which include GLOBALGAP, QS, GRASP and IFS certifications, granted by the NSF certification authority. This is due to our scrupulous care, respect for European good agricultural practice regulations, renewal of our warehouses, punctual delivery and total absence of pesticide residues.
